Carpe Diem are Recruiting a Senior Digital / Web Designer in Liverpool
This isn't an ordinary design job at an ordinary agency
we are looking for something and someone special!
What we want!
That special person will be a Senior Digital / Web Designer who will be responsible for leading the creative design, development and direction of wide range of varied and challenging projects. We would want someone within this role to aspire to become a Creative Director with the right leadership.
A good starting point will be to take a look at our own portfolio and introduction video. You will be expected to produce work of this level as a minimum.

A knock out portfolio is a must! This does not have to be live projects, but it must show off your ability.
You will be experienced in creating balanced website designs across a variety of subjects with a strong understanding of usability principles with at least 3 years’ prior experience. A solid background in web design is very important.
You will have a good all round knowledge of software applications in Adobe CS5. Additional skills in either After Effects, 3DS Max, Flash (Action Scripting) or a combination are an added benefit. Hands on coding skills are not essential as you will work with our team of in-house developers.
Video or photography experience would be welcome, as you will have plenty of opportunity to put your skills to use in our in-house studio. Pretty much everything that you see on our website has been done in house.
You will of course be required to actively embrace emerging technologies.
The ability to pull people together, motivate and inspire people will be crucial. As is the desire to help the company develop work of the highest standard.
You will be an integral part of a small specialist digital agency with a wide variety of local, national and international clients.
Some of our clients include: BBC/Conker media Digital Fiction Factory, OT, ASICS, New Balance, Transform and The Ombudsman Service.
