Building brand awareness and consumer confidence for KAT windows and door by creating a promotional marketing video.
Having worked with KAT UK to define their customer journey and online marketing strategy as part of the development of a new responsive website, we recommended the production of a promotional video.
With attention spans getting shorter, and video hit rates being high, having a promotional marketing video produced for your website not only allows visitors to quickly engage with you, but delivers a far greater insight into your business and a more personal feeling.
Video is also becoming a crucial part of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) as Google can prioritise videos above other content in its search results. You Tube is now the second largest search engine, processing over 3 billion searches per month. This means the use of video on your website is now becoming more crucial.
We filmed KAT UK’s manufacturing processes at each of their production units across their UK sites. Our aim was to convey the personal care and attention to detail given to the creation of their high quality products, and by extension, that provided to KAT customers upon purchasing products from them.
We achieved this by focusing the video on the skilled craftsmanship of their timber workforce and the advanced production of their aluminium and PVC divisions. We also wanted to convey the personal service and unique design and development process that customers can expect to receive by working with KAT.
We started by developing a script to articulate the sales and manufacturing process, before developing a shot list and storyboard that ensured we covered all the areas needed to produce the video. Filming, editing and post production motion graphics were completed by our in-house team.
The video takes you on journey through the sales and manufacturing process of KAT windows and doors.
The KAT video will be integrated into the website as an introduction to the company, as well as being used to develop a KAT UK YouTube channel, which will help to drive Search Engine performance.
At the same time as producing the video, we were able to build a bank video assets that will be used for future marketing and promotional activity.
The video is soon to be released on social media platforms and the main company website.
